Have I told you that I really like the “Rosie” magazine? It’s like fresh, out of those super-model kind of thing and with a touch of humor. Well, I’m not doing publicity here… I just found something interesting in the new bi-monthly issue. It says:
Remember what you learned in school? Oxymorons are phrases that contain contradictory words (like jumbo shrimp). Here are some of Rosie’s favorites:
Working vacation, Sweet sorrow, Found missing, Rap music, Butt heads, Sanitary landfill, Political science, Terribly pleased, Definite maybe, Soft rock, Pretty ugly, Resident alien, Tight slacks, Civil war, Small crowd, Act naturally, Good grief, Exact estimate, Plastic glasses, Alone together, Business ethics, Airline food, Passive agression, Government organization, Legally drunk, Genuine imitation, “Now, then…”, Military intelligence, Clearly misunderstood, Peace force.

Via Alysha I found this kind of a test to inquire “What’s the Animal in Me” and I did it to discover that I don’t have any difference with Rob Schneider… LOL! They say I’m either a Zebra or a Weasel personality, but that I could be a Bear personality too. Interesting, eh?

My best friend arrived from Japan last Saturday. She was there for 6 months learning about the Japanese culture and improving the language. Her name is Midori, which means green :) No one can imagine how happy I am for having been able to see her before leaving for Canada again; we’ve been friends since we were in Kindergarten and we’ve been there for each other through all the moments in our lives. I feel really fortunate for having such a special and loyal friend… she’s simply the best, not only as a friend, but as a whole human being. She’s kindness represented in all its sense… Yes, that’s my friend and I’m proud to say it.
And to complete my happiness… HUBBY’S ARRIVING TOMORROW! Yay!! In less than 26 hours we’ll be together and I can’t wait to give him hugs and kisses. We have talked on the phone I don’t know how many times in the last two days; he’s like a kid telling me about what he’s bringing and all the things we’re going to do together. I feel like a million butterflies in my stomach, like when we met the first time… oh those days! It gets better with time.
So, there are two sunshines for me this week and I can’t do anything, but thank God for all this. It’s like a soft breeze in the middle of a storm and I wish everyone in the world felt the way I’m feeling right now… I wish we all felt like that everyday.
