1. What was the last book you read? Did you enjoy it? “Retrato en Sepia” (Portrait in Sepia) by Isabel Allende. Of course I enjoyed it! She’s my favorite author and she doesn’t have a book that isn’t just wonderful. The way she makes the descriptions of places, people and events is just so magic; and the historical content is absolutely fabulous. For someone who wants to read this book, I recommend to read “La Hija de la Fortuna” (The Daughter of Fortune) first ;)
2. What’s you’re most favorite book of all time? “The Little Prince” by Anthoine de Saint-Exupry. I don’t know why, but it has captivated me and in it’s simplicity many people can learn about the values of life, love, friendship and other beautiful things. My favorite quote of all times is “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; What is essential is invisible to the eyes”. That is just so true!
3. What’s the worst book you’ve ever read? That would be all the books I had to read in school for my Spanish courses. I just didn’t like the stories, even if the authors are good and the literature is rich. I just didn’t like them. I don’t think there are bad books… we just have different tastes.
4. What book that you’ve read would you most like to see adapted into a movie? Good question… I really can’t think about one now, but I know that many times when I read a book I just feel like wanting to see a movie based on it. But now that I think better… I would love to see more stories by Isabel Allende brought to the screen, and definitely Gabriel Garca Marquez’s!
5. How do you plan to spend your weekend? Simple: cleaning :P LOL! Anyone interesting in coming to help me? ;)
