Happy Birthday to Tara and Lish!!

It is truly a day to feel good. I had this long nice dream of my mom and a baby girl; I don’t know what it means, but it was great and I hope it’s a sign of something good coming up. After all, they say that dreaming with babies means good things. Now, if it means a baby’s coming this way, that’s even better! *sighs*

My mail box this morning is flooding with a bunch of projects and webrings to join and I think they all are a great idea, but I think I’ll wait until I’m back from New Jersey, which BTW, I’ve heard only good things about and I’m really happy! Thanks to all of those who have given me their opinion of the New Jersey seashore :-) I’m passing every bit of information to Patrice and his mom.

The plans today are to migrate ASAP to a cooler place, do some shopping, change the potting soil of my african violets and maybe go for dinner tonight with S, a couple of her friends and Theresa. I think I’m going to get offline now to do house stuff and go upstairs to bring some color pencils and fun stuff for the kids the lady I met last week takes care of everyday.

I have the “Sunday Bloody Sunday” song by U2 in my head because that’s what we were listening to in the car while driving to Kirkland to visit some family. We spent all the afternoon there, chatting, laughing, telling stories and little miss Beatriz here left everyone impressed with her progress in the French language… he he! We had fun… Patrice’s cousins are so nice!

Anyway, we just came back home, very happy with a couple of gifts we received from my mother in law. It’s very humid outside and they are announcing another nice heat wave for tomorrow so this is the plan: I’m going to migrate to Diane’s house very early in the morning and spend the day (and maybe the night) there. I don’t have any other option… She’s got the Central AC, I don’t! ;-)

Rock on! We’re going to Ocean City, NJ, for vacation on August 10th! My mother in law rented a little apartment for 10 days and we’re heading south with her, Patrice and a friend of us. I’m so happy that my hubby is going to have this break and everyone seems like all excited. As for me, I just want to get away for a few days and see something different. On August 1st, I will go on official vacation from this blog for a couple of weeks to get the trip prepared and take care of other things around. I’ll put a Notify List if you’re interested in receiving a little message when I’m back :-)
