Life as it happens…

Today I finally talked to Elisa after a week of playing cats and dogs. The little chat with had over the phone left me thinking that these days I don’t share much about my own life, even if it’s not that interesting. I’m concentrating in linking to other sites or talking about politics (if my views on the world can be called politics… lol!), which is not really me. I’m the “journal” type of person, talking about my day and adventures; I think that if I write more about my own stuff I’ll start feeling better about some things that make me feel bad, so here I go with a “all about life” entry.

Cute Heath

One of the cutest scenes I’ve seen in a movie, is when Heath Ledger starts singing “Can’t take my eyes of you” to Julia Stiles in “10 Things I Hate About You“. I cannot say I find the guy very attractive, but he’s simply adorable while dancing and escaping from the school guards. It’s one of those scenes that makes you smile with each one of your teeth.

For the record, people who put pop-up ads in websites should be prosecuted! (just looking for the proper definition of prosecution I got 3 of them, nice!). Looking for links to information about the two actors above I was literally attacked by a horde of wild pop-ups that almost made my system crash, ugh! Same thing for Spam…

For the people in Montreal, some chiropractics are opening their offices late to offer X-Rays services so parents can check if there are razor blades or any other kind of harmful thing in their children’s candy. Cool, eh?

I was happily watching the news when this hit the screen: Ottawa issued a report yesterday telling Canadian citizens born in Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan or Syria they should “consider carefully” whether to travel to the United States “for any reason” following the introduction of a law that requires them to be photographed and fingerprinted. Canadians born in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia or Yemen are also being cautioned that they can expect special attention from the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, according to a Global National report last night.
