I have seen this Name Numerology thingy all over the place. I just found it again at my evil partner’s (who btw is wearing a Halloween costume featuring certain Leafs fan). Give me numbers, star signs and all kinds of things related with Astrology and you’ll have me there for hours. I don’t believe in Horoscopes, though. Curious, the number 5 doesn’t appear and it’s my favorite.

Imagine something like this happening in a theater you visit, let’s say… in Brodway. Oh my God! What happened in Russia just gives terrorists more ideas to mess up with the world. I just don’t want to think about it; gases that cause brain death, gases like the ones they say Iraqis use, gases that make you hallucinate.
And from what I read, Some US institutions (with the help of the British) cannot wash their hands about creating this kind of biological-chemical weapon.

I cannot understand women who are always complaining about how miserable their lives are because of their husbands. When someone I know only gives me the “bad” news about her house, of course I’ll have the wrong image of the man she married and I’ll start wondering why on earth she’s still with him, even if she seems to be so unhappy. I mean, if you are so miserable with that man… Right? Otherwise, start seeing the good things too and stop telling others stuff you shouldn’t be sharing with everyone, because “the dirty clothes are washed at home”.
We all have the right to complain from time time because our life partner is not perfect all the time. But nobody is! It makes me sick to my bone when all I hear from a friend is how inconsiderate and lazy her husband is, because I’m sure that man has another face to show. I however understand that sometimes marriages don’t work and that decisions have to be made, but can’t just they manage it personally?
When they start proclaiming that marriage is not that good it just drives me insane; just because you happen to have a couple of flip-flops in your relationship it doesn’t mean you can discourage others about it just to make them feel better because they don’t have what you have. And for that matter, I think it always takes two to make things work, so probably the one who is complaining is waiting for the other part to do all the work and that is not how things are. Or maybe that’s just how I feel.
Like I said, nobody is perfect and my own marriage is very far from being it too, but I’m happy. I love my husband even when he makes mistakes and I always try to highlight the good things he does because that makes me feel good. If I start concentrating only in the fact that sometimes he doesn’t help me around, or that he forgets things, I’ll start being unhappy. It’s simple like that. I’m married because I want to, because relationships rock, because we were made to live in couple and because it’s good to have someone to hug at the end of the day and know it’ll be the same the next one.
And for those who don’t have this kind of happiness, I will always have encouraging words to never stop hoping for that special someone to come to their lives. Even if maybe one day my own relationship starts falling apart.

Still lots of work to do; I just finished a batch of credit reports and I’m taking a break. Lunch didn’t go so well, I have gastritis and Patrice seems to be the victim of some kind of food poisoning because his face is full of little red spots and his stomach is flip-flopping. Poor little thing! I’m watching and making him drink lots of water. If his condition doesn’t improve I guess we’ll go to the Dr. And NO more “Stax Deli” for us… Ugh!
Good thing that the atmosphere at the office is cool today. Of course, with this bunch of madmen, some of them screaming like monkeys in the back cooler, others downloading music from the 80s series like “Knight Rider” and “McGuiver”. Sometimes I wonder about my own mental stability… seriously; but it’s good this way!

I’m taking a little break from work to play to This or That  Been really busy all morning, but good news is that now I can use YIM and MSN from the office… he he! Had to call mom and my school in Colombia to ask for a certificate with my notes, so it’ll be ready when I go there. Anyway, here are my fruity choices.
1. Apples or pears? Pears. Apple peel makes me sick
2. Oranges or grapefruit? Oranges. Grapefruit is too “amarga”
3. Broccoli or cauliflower? Cauliflower, in soufflé!
4. Green beans or lima beans? Green beans. I don’t know the other ones.
5. Winter or summer squash? I don’t like squash.
6. Blueberries or strawberries? Strawberry, don’t your remember?
7. Tomatoes or potatoes? Potatoes. Tomatoes make me sick.
8. Peaches or plums? Peaches are not that acidic.
9. Peas or carrots? Can’t I have both?? Ok, carrots.
10. Asparagus or corn? Can’t decide. Both!
