Yesterday I was reading an article in “El Tiempo” about how the number of Colombians who surf the net (inside the country) is very low compared to other countries in South America. They explained the cost of the internet service in a report made by the “Congreso Andino de Telecomunicaciones”, but they forgot to mention that part of the problem depends also on the cost of the telephone service.

1. What is your favorite scary movie? I don’t like scary movies, I’m a chicken, I can’t even watch shows like “Buffy”; I have nightmares and I can’t walk in the dark after them. But I do like one Halloween-type movie: “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. It isn’t that scary at all.

I have absolutely nothing against pink, even if it’s a color I don’t wear or choose often. Pink is cute, pink is trendy, pink is good. But why oh why am I getting this Pepto-like screen? First it was yellow and now I think my computer wants to become a princess or something. No really, does anyone know why? Comments appreciated.

For the record: I got the pink screen last night and so far it’s been ok today. Agh!

This morning the buzz of the door woke me up. It was the mailman with a certificate letter for me, from my father’s brother, who I’ve become close to after he (my father) passed away in 2000. They were 15 brothers and sisters from which I only know a few, but there are two especially that I communicate with.

My uncle is a cultivated man, with great writer talents. A Spanish Literature teacher for many years, each one of his letters brings you to a magic word and with each stroke of the pen, he’s telling you thousands of stories. At the same time he’s just another man in the search for love after his wife passed away in 1989 and who has been struggling to raise his two daughters with a not-so-good pay check.

I don’t know about you, but I find HIM extremely attractive. I usually don’t post about my lust for actors, but this guy makes my skin tingle every time I see him and I just want to hug him because he’s so darn cute!! That Buffy girl is too lucky… too lucky. With all respect, I love my husband, but oh boy! :wink: And for the record, yes… I just saw another of his movies called “She’s all That“. I cannot resist that sweet face…
