Today’s my mom’s birthday! There are no words to express how much she means to me and how much I miss her. She really IS an angel of God and I feel truly lucky for having her in my life and for all the love she gives to me from a distance. She has suffered so much, but she’s so strong… a role model of faith and love for the human kind. God bless her today and always, and give us the chance to be together really soon because she is my best friend!

When looking for a cute image for my mom’s birthday greeting, I came across a site called Flowers and Plants with lovely photos of flowers for winter and couldn’t resist them… The re-design bug bit me and I had to do something about it. There’s a script that allows random images to show and I want to know if it’s working for everyone? BTW, it’s really simple, if you want it! I tried playing with the PHP script from Scripty Goddess, but my head is too busy and I kept getting one of those weird lines… ha ha! Maybe later. Also, I think the new design may look a little bit quirky in a 800×600 resolution and I’m really sorry. After a while of using it myself and seeing all those big pages in the wrong way, I decided to change.

Isn’t it funny that when you’re feeling down and cranky, life always gives you a reason to smile and say thanks to God that you really don’t have any problems or big deals? The pleasure you can find in simple things, like a nice comment that leads you to a kick-ass website, or an e-mail from a kind person who takes the time to think of you (I’ll reply soon!), or chatting with a cool new friend and a wonderful old friend… I just felt like sharing my little moment of happiness.

Weee!! I just installed my new, official and licensed copy of Paint Shop Pro 7.04, and I’m absolutely impressed by all the things you can do with this new version. I had the 6.01 version, thanks to a friend who sent me the file a while ago, but I was always worried about getting in trouble or losing it in a crash. I’m SO NOT into cracking software and stuff like that… call me a prude, or blame my father… ha ha! He wanted everything with the correct label.

Anyway, this thing is amazing and I just installed it, haven’t really played with it! I think PSP is a great option for those of us who want to get all graphic in a non-professional way and don’t really have the money to buy the most cool PhotoShop right away. I have a LE version of PS that came with my Wacom Tablet, but I’ve never really used it; I have been playing with PSP since 1998 and I’m completely happy with it. And well! I even upgraded the useful Acrobat Reader, plus I get a rebate… Weee!!

Question: Does anyone know if I can install my old tubes and brushes and make them work?

I was wondering and came to the conclusion that my posts are either too boring or people -don’t feel like/are too busy- for commenting these days in here. Really, there are hits in my stats but almost no one says anything, not even the friends! Maybe I should be a little more controversial, more polemic, funnier? What do you think? Please, don’t tell me I’m intimidating anyone? If I haven’t even discussed the news lately, ha ha! Anyway… Could just be one of those days*, or simply the holidays. I think I’ll close this machine for the rest of the weekend, before I start getting paranoid ideas about no one liking me (I can be freaky like that, I’m serious… Takes some courage to admit it! It makes part of my OC personality, what to do?).
