Sunny April Afternoon

I wrote a long rant about my T.V. Service Provider earlier this afternoon, but then I decided to write about something good. However, the rant is still here if you’re interested on reading the “More” part.

It’s been a beautiful day today in Montreal A little bit chilly, just for me. After answering the 20 questions I found at Pariah’s blog and looking at how messy my desk was I decided to go in a cleaning spree. Got rid of tons of papers I don’t need anymore, organized the floppy disks (Patrice had a lot of them all mixed with blank ones) and labeled them properly. My keyboard is shinning and I passed the wonderful Swiffer and the vacuum on the rug, after hiding the darn computer cables (they sure can be a lot!). It looks delicious now!

Patrice kind of got curious after seeing me cleaning and he decided to something of his own. Got rid of old comic books and other stuff to donate to the local library where people seemed very pleased to know someone wants to share with them. Books, they are so expensive! Thinking of all those kids who will profit with the stories of the Smurfs and Children Encyclopedias makes me feel happy.

How was your day? Having fun so far? Still interested in a little rant? Continue reading then. If not, take care! I might see you later

Twenty Questions

Posted: April 29th, 2003 | Author: Bea | Filed under: Memes | 1 Comment »

I found these 20 online/computer-related questions at Pariah’s. Cool!

1. Who is your best online friend?
By best friend I assume it’s someone I talk to in (or communicate with) very often, someone I trust and someone I like very much. I have a few: Peter, Babs, Jaya, Kristin, Kathryn and Sophia (the last two are MIA, ha ha!). Am I missing someone? Hope not!

2. Who is your oldest online friend?
That has to be Sundar, a really nice guy from India I met 5 years ago and who has been absolutely wonderful all these years. And then there’s Paul, my friend from the UK who shares my love for birds and Formula 1 Go McLaren!

3. Who is your newest online friend?
Mmmm… Let me think… That has to be Martie, who I have been talking with on a regular basis since a couple of weeks ago. She’s nice! Hiya, Martie!

Who am I?

Visiting Jennifer I found this link to a DOS-based test you can download at Weblog Wannabe. It’s really simple: all you have to do is get the file, unzip it into a folder and open the whoami.exe file. Then you’ll do the test and you’ll get a really interesting analysis of your personality. Try it out!

Oh great…

My Database is down, and I cannot access the CP for support, just great! I hate those error messages when trying to load a page. I just hope my photo gallery is not messed up like the other day… ugh! Got waken up by a phone call and that always makes me nervous, my stomach is a little bit upset and I’m cold. Not a good start for the day, but with this beautiful sunshine I’m hoping for things to get better. Need coffee now. Good morning!

A Look at Canada

Boy! It feels like summer The thermometer has reached 24C today in Montreal and I have all my windows open. I’m even wearing shorts, but I’m sure you don’t want to see Beatriz in those… ha ha! Anyway, I love it! Sending hugs and good wishes to the people in Calgary (aka Sophia) who got an incredible more than 40cm of snow… wowsa! Big country this Canada, huh?

And talking about Canada guess what I’ve been doing? Studying for my Citizenship test. Yes! 197 questions about History, Geography and the political life of my new homeland. I answered them all and now I’ll start posting them to see how much Canadians know about their country, he he! Remember I had mentioned it before? Well, my head is crazy, I have so many projects in mind that I always end up postponing stuff, but now the game is on.
