Sensitive Light

Sensitive Light is one of the best (if not the best) photologs I’ve seen around. I’m probably biased by all the bird photos in there (Ornithology rocks!), but it’s quite amazing, the close-ups are great. Excellent photography, a must visit.

Wonderful News

Holy Golightly! I can barely type, emotion is running too fast through my veins. I just received WONDERFUL NEWS: I’ve been accepted by the Université de Montréal to finish my Bachelor of Biological Science starting this fall, in order to pursue Graduate studies. Breathe, breathe… I can’t believe it! I mean, I had faith and everything, but I wasn’t expecting a response so soon and so positively! I have to go for a French test and next September I’m going back to school, babe! Go me! Now excuse me, I’m going to read that acceptance letter for the third time and pinch myself again to realize this is not a dream. Gracias, Dios mío!

Clean Office

I can say I spend about 70-80% of my “in-house” time in the office, either on the internet, writing letters, doing crafts, reading, taking care of business ;-) What surprises me is how much I neglect this space that has become like my sanctuary (I even have a statue of the Miraculous Medal my mom gave me because I’m totally devoted to the Virgin Mary). The dust was eating it alive, for God’s sake! And the rug… the rug, let me tell you… shame on me. But I was a good woman today, cleaned, passed the vaccum, lit up scented candles and that Swiffer Duster? A wonder of the 21st Century for sure. It smells good in here!

Klimt Love

Your inner artist is Gustav Klimt! (Very satisfied with that result, I love Klimt!)

Whether incurable romantic or caring optimist, your style is undeniably Klimtian. Like all romantics, you tend to think with your heart. And why not? Great things often come with a healthy dose of passion attached. When it comes to matters that matter -whether love, or injustice, or freedom- you’re rarely one to follow the crowd. In fact, you possess the rare gift of courage, along with the self-confidence to stand up for your convictions. We’d guess you’ve swum against the current once or twice before. And where something you care about is concerned, we’ve no doubt you’d do it again.
