1. I had a big crush on Ralph Maccio when I saw Karate Kid.
2. My favorite numbers are 5 and 19 (Joe Sakic!).
3. I’m Pro-Life and I will get upset if you tell me I’m wrong.
4. My favorite subject in High School was Chemistry (WTF was I thinking?!).
5. I’ve never broken any bones or had any stitches.

If anyone would’ve told me the year I reached the 3rd floor was going to be so weird, I would’ve skipped it and turn 31 right away. Let’s hope that 1 next to the 3 means there will be much better things in my life. Oh well, they are already happening, so here’s to me… Happy Birthday, Bea!

Update: I had a very nice and French (from France) birthday. Cocotte minute, foie gras, fromage brie, pastis (YUM!)… you name it. My colombian friend and his GF invited me for dinner, he baked a cake (so sweet!); then this really cool guy showed up and we talked biology, archeology, musique du monde and politics. Best time I’ve had since I got here, felt at home away from home. I have to make sure I return the kindness; it’s nice to know I’m not alone.

And thanks everyone at the Big Red House for the delicious cake, heh!
