I was a kid once!

Because we all were kids once. I found this meme thingy at Logtar’s. Turns out there are a bunch of bloggers posting photos of when they were children. It isn’t a new trend, but it sure is a fun one.

Now, this photo: I was about 4-5 years old. It was at my cousins’ First Communion. The place is the garden in front of our school church (Catholic school… with NUNS!). The dress was made by my mom, I remember it was light blue in “Hoja Rota” (some kind of fabric with holes in it, LOL!). I was sporting a new haircut, and I remember going out of the salon touching it because I thought the feeling of hair spray was amazing. And the earrings were adorable, gold ones, I wonder where they are now. Oh yeah… Memories!

And the photo was taken by my dad. Then he kept it in his wallet, along with this one, for as long as I can remember. Both photos were there until the day he died.

Darwin & Me

I changed Darwin’s (my Betta fish) bowl water for the first time today. I think it was about time after a couple of weeks, but I’m still learning about Betta fish care. At first I was worried he didn’t want to eat, but I can see him going all over the bowl now looking for his pellets. I blame Maroon 5… As soon as I started playing “Makes Me Wonder” he got active. Hah! I knew he was one of us. ;-)

Now I’m trying to see his fighting behaviour by putting a mirror in front of his house, but he doesn’t seem to be too angry at the moment. I’m mean, I know.

The search is over!

Months have passed since we started lusting over one of these. We finally found it, we ran for it, the last left in the store. We can sit and relax… Or not… Playing Tennis on Wii is so much fun! ;)

From Far, Far Away

Shrek The Third doesn’t deserve a review, and that’s only because the movie is so good a review would be redundant. I won’t state anything here, people just should go and see it to understand what I mean. I laughed a lot, the story’s cute as always, the message is beautiful, and the animation is just unbelievable… Too good, too realisitc, freaky at times. Those guys are getting better and better. There are some very hilarious scenes and dialogues in this one… Oh, so worth seeing!

We had a Shrekathon with a few friends. Saw Shrek and Shrek 2 on DVD at home, ordered pizza (Oh oh… Pizza Shoppe is good!), laughed like kids and then we headed to the theatre. I don’t know what I liked the most, the movie itself or the little kids around us dancing to every song played in it. Cute.

And as usual, excellent soundtrack. :)
