I got interested in this new show on FX from the moment I saw the announcement, and that was more than a month ago. Lucky that I remembered to DVR the (commercial free!) pilot and I watched it yesterday. I liked it… Very much!

Give me lawyers anytime. And then there’s the intrigue, the cheating, the evil plots of any legal thriller. Glenn Close has been one of my favourite actresses for a long time. And you really have to think about what’s going on, or maybe it’s just me with English. I’m definitely going to watch it again so I can understand what exactly is going on.

If you like good, serious, adult TV, I recommend this one.

The Arms of Violence

I shouldn’t post negative stuff about my country. But I am ashamed today. Ashamed of knowing I share a Colombian citizenship with people who don’t care about the victims of violence in my country. Angry at some of my country’s congressmen who left the congress building in the middle of a discourse. The discourse of about 30 native people who left their regions, and went all the way to the capital, to condemn the actions of the violent, to tell the government about their reality. To show the government how they are being victimized and unprotected. And the government ignores them. Ashamed.
