Today’s Friday’s Feast brought to you by OneTouch.
Appetizer
What does the color dark green make you think of?
It makes me think about boreal forests up in Canada with all those conifers.
Soup
How many cousins do you have?
First cousins? Mmmm… Let me see… 15 on my mother’s side plus their children; that’s a lot. And that’s all I know because my father had 13 siblings and I’ve only met 2 of my cousins. There are too many.
Salad
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how honest are you?
I would say 9 because sometimes you can’t be too honest.
Main Course
Name something that is truly free.
Our spirit after death.
Dessert
Using the letters in the word SPRING, write a sentence.
Stay Put Reloading Inner Natural Grandeur
Check my KC friends’ FF: Logtar, Emaw, Shane, Chimpotle, Nuke.

You know what sucks about being stressed over a job search and all that? I totally forgot to post that March 21st marked SEVEN FREAKING YEARS since I started blogging. Hah… and some people think they are cooler than me. ;-)
You don’t believe me? This blog was around when Blogger was the only CMS and it didn’t belong to Google. When Blogvoices was the only way to comment. When Greymatter was being created by Noah Grey. When Movable Type became the last shit. When WordPress took over. It was around when Jish still blogged, when Kottke and Evhead became famous, when Dooce got fired, when Zeldman started publishing books about CSS, when Robyn had tantrums in Tampa, and when people died to be part of the A-List. And yes, this blog has been in the Blogrolling top 100 (47), but who really cares, right?
Yeah, it’s been a long way, baby… I guess it’s fun since I’m still doing it.

All I can say is “Wow!” – And yes, this Easter toy is in my premises today. Now I’m just laughing at it, but I had to put it on time out because I don’t think I can stand it every 5 seconds for 8 hours. I turned it off, the little one tries to click the button and goes “Awww!” — LOL

Since Québecois decided to make bad use of religion-related words, I feel really naughty every time I have to say “Certificat de baptême.”
The interesting thing is that I thought this long list of “sacres” was generated after the “Révolution Tranquille,” but it seems they have been giving the church a bad name since the 19th century. Gotta love Wikipedia.

Give me some pride and prejudice on a Friday afternoon, and top it with a little bit of sense and sensibility. Jane Austen’s own love story was as peculiar as that of her characters, and it is beautifully told in Becoming Jane, starring Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy.
This is one awesome movie, based on a real life story with an unusual ending. For those of us used to Jane Austen’s happy endings, this may not be our cup of tea, but it was the inspiration for 6 novels that became a must-read in English literature. The story of a great author who went beyond her social rules, and who was as human, as passionate, and as intelligent as her main characters, minus the neurotic mother… He he he!
I really liked it. And of course, James McAvoy is eye candy. ;-)
