Staying in

The day is nice enough to go out and take some pictures, so I might do that later before going to mass. The sun is actually shining, I’m living in winterland already, it’s kinda pretty, and I don’t think “la neige va partir”… might as well get used to it. Madi and her mom invited me to go with them for a photo session for the kids, but I prefered to stay at home, do laundry and take care of my student loan application. It was short and painless… Legally separated, no income, no parents in Canada, poor little thing! I think they will have enough consideration to give me a good loan and a scholarship.

I’m excited about this going back to school thing. When I saw the director of the program I asked him a lot of questions about everything and he told me there are great chances for a summer job working with the teachers doing research, that money is good and that they always lack of students, so if I’m really interested I could be working in a cool forest ecology project… who knows! I don’t remember being this motivated when I went back to school last year, but I blame my relationship going to the pooper and all the stress related to it. Oh well, no looking back now, just forward to a great education.

Laundry’s ready, so I better get ready to fold… my favourite task… NOT.
