Big Shots
When ABC's Big Shots wasn't on the air last week, I imagined it had been pulled out. I was wrong, it was all due to the writers guild strike. Now I realize that even though I like the show, I kinda underestimate it. With all the super-action, murder investigation, fantastic shows on TV now, I figured Big Shots probably wasn't all that. I still like it.
And why do I like it? Because it's like the male version of Desperate Housewives. I actually never followed DH's, but I know what it is about. And Big Shots is full of the relationships intrigue some people like. You have 4 successful business men, all in different stages of their love life. One is divorced, the other one is getting divorced, then there's the cheater who gets in trouble when his wife makes friends with his mistress, and then there's the one in the happy marriage. You get all kinds of perspectives. It shows you how sometimes a bad decision or judgement can get you in big trouble.
The show can become dull at times, but it has kept me interested from day 1. And I'm glad it's coming back on November 29th. Besides, Dylan McDermott is always a treat for the eyes. ;-)
