I’ve seen this all over. On LJ, on weblogs, etc. Some made a meme of it, started tagging other peeps… I do it for fun.
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
I like to wrap my presents in environment-friendly paper.
2. Tree – Real or Artificial?
Ours is artificial. I’ve always wanted to have a real one to see what it’s like, but I have ethical issues with it. I know trees are grown to full fill their Christmas mission, but I just don’t see the fun in killing a living thing for my enjoyment.
3. When do you put the Christmas tree up?
I put it the day after Thanksgiving this year. But that’s not a tradition, I put it up whenever I feel like it; the earlier, the better.
4. When do you take the tree down?
After January 6th. That’s when the Three Kings arrive!
5. Like Egg Nog?
I have never tried Egg Nog! Can you believe that? I guess I’ll have to get me some of that.
6. Do you have a nativity scene?
Yes. Isn’t Christmas about Jesus being born? Mine is under the tree, and Shayla likes to play the role of the rebel, furry sheep.
7. Favorite gift received as a child?
I got many things I liked. But I will never forget a Hello Kitty plush toy.
8. Hardest person to buy for?
My mom. She’s not complicated, but she’s very particular in her tastes.
9. Easiest person to buy for?
Me! I like everything!
10. Worst Christmas gift?
Divorce papers? LOL – Kidding. I don’t remember.
11. Mail or email a Christmas Card?
Mail. I love the old fashioned way.
12. Favorite Christmas movie?
Miracle on 34th Street.
13. When do you start shopping for Xmas?
Whenever I have the time and money.
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
What do you mean? Give it away? No.
15. Favorite food to eat on Christmas?
Buñuelos con natilla!
16. Clear or colored tree lights?
I like them both.
17. Favorite Christmas Song?
Campana Sobre Campana. It’s a Latino song.
18. Travel during Christmas or stay home?
Stay home!
19. Can you name Santa’s reindeers?
I only know Prancer.
20. Angel or Star on tree top?
We have a star this year.
21. Open presents on Christmas Eve or morning?
Christmas Eve, as early as possible. I’m a baby and I don’t like to wait.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
How some people have no idea of what Christmas REALLY is about.
23. Do you decorate your tree in any specific theme or color?
I like the traditional green/red/gold.
24. What do you leave for Santa?
Nothing. He doesn’t come to my house. It’s el Niño Dios, OK???
25. Favorite ornament?
The ones my hubby got me this year! :-) Our first Christmas together.
