Cuentos de Colombia

Warm weather, warm people, lots of invitations, lots of green landscapes, lots of noise and fun. That’s my life during these last two weeks; we’re having a blast in Colombia. Right now I have my nephew’s laughter on the background while he plays with Patrice and my dog. Bliss, total bliss.

That is why I haven’t posted since we arrived in Cali on February 24th. Great flight, long layover in Miami but nice time with the hubby. We’ve been busy celebrating birthdays (my nephew turned 5 on Feb. 26th and Patrice turned 34 on Tuesday), attending lunch and dinner with friends and family, visiting places, relaxing and enjoying the beauty of my country. Having the hubby here with me keeps me away from the computer, ha ha!

We’re very happy. The heat is REALLY on (like the song) and we’re sweating every single sweat bullet on the planet, but this is so much fun and we’re so NOT looking forward to going back to work in cold Canada, but such is life. The plans are to enjoy every single second left of this trip to be with the people we love, and then go back to home sweet home to continue with our lives.

  14. It’s been a while since I’ve read and I hadn’t realized you went back to Colombia already!! I’m glad you had a safe trip and are enjoying yourselves so much! Happy belated birthday to Patrice!! Enjoy the heat, cuz it’s still WINTER here! :) LOL Hugs girlie! :hug:
