Since I’m getting hits from Google when people search for “Kansas City, FARC, Marcha, Protest” – I want to invite all of those who are interested to contact me and see if we can go out on Monday, February 4th to say NO to the FARC.

I woke up this morning thinking of a way to recruit enough Colombian people (or any people who are against violence) to gather here in Kansas City, on February 4th, to say NO to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (known as FARC). Oscar Morales started a group on Facebook and a website, and now there are people looking forward to protesting against the violent all around the world.
There are also some editorial houses joining the cause, as well as Colombian newspapers making publicity about it. We are tired of the FARC, we are tired of Hugo Chávez’s condoning their actions. We are tired… NO MAS FARC!
I hope the list keeps on growing. And I will see what I can do to make Kansas City part of it.

I’d REALLY like to be involved in this, the downsides being that a DON’T deal with cold weather well, I’d have to bundle up (layered clothing big time), I’d need a ride because on my increased amount of Klonopin I’m legally intoxicated, and lastly there’s my phobia of large crowds of people.
Despite all this, I STILL want to be involved, get back to me as soon as possible please!
Feb. 4 is a Monday. So is it Monday the 4th? Ahi estare.
P.S. If you have a Facebook, I think it would be a good idea to create an event. I’m in law school, and sad but true, no one does anything if it’s not “official” on Facebook.
There is the “Un Millón de Voces en Contra de Las FARC” group, but thanks for the idea of creating an event. :-)
And yes, it’s Monday.
