Oy! I haven’t had the chance to post. Been busy and away from home, spending the holidays with my boyfriend and his family. We had a wonderful time and, for the first time in years, I didn’t spend the week feeling sad or stressed. Tired, maybe, because we didn’t stop with all the family meetings, going out with friends and having fun. But I had a great time, that it’s probably even better because I spent it with my sweetheart.

2006 was a challenging year for me, but one I’ll never forget. I learnt a lot of things about myself, especially about how far I can go when life throws me a few curve balls. I learnt I can be someone, on my own, but that life is better when you have someone you love walking the path with you, not carrying you in their arms, but holding your hand. I learnt that love isn’t co-dependence, but wanting to achieve goals together. I learnt that life has an amusing way to lead you to the person you’re meant to be with.

2007 is just starting, and I have no idea of how it’s going to be, but I know I’ll accomplish the things I want to because I have the best fuel to go on: love. So 2007 will be the year where I’ll learn to love again. And this post is dedicated to that wonderful man who makes part of my life now. I love you, baby.
