KC Blogger Meet Up

Very reluctantly, I accepted my husband’s proposal to go to a KC bloggers meet up today. I haven’t been feeling well in the last couple of days, and the idea of getting social with a bunch of people I know nothing about wasn’t too appealing. John is the one who reads KC weblogs, while I just keep mine for the sake of it. I don’t post much, I don’t read others, and I don’t comment. Long gone are the days of my sitting in front of the computer trying to find something to post about; and I don’t publicize the fact that I’ve been on this business almost since it all started. Google Reader is my friend, and I haven’t even checked it in more than a month. Go figure! I’m kind of a burnt-out weblogger. Anyhoo…

Just a few minutes before people started arriving to the 75th Brewery in KCMO, I was feeling faint and we almost left to come back home. But I told John I would wait. I’m a very social person and I wasn’t going to let an upset stomach ruin it for me. I’m glad we stayed. We got to meet a few local webloggers, had a great time, and drank really good beer. It all left me with the good intention to start posting more often and actually reading other weblogs and commenting. Let’s see how it goes. After almost 7 years, it’s like there is nothing to talk about anymore. LOL

Anyway, it was really nice to meet you all (in case you got curious and are reading this post now). There are a couple of photos that I took at the meeting. If anyone is interested, let me know, and I’ll send them to you. :-)

  1. Hello Bea,nice meeting you. I guess we spent some time on the opposite sides of the restaurant, but there was no way I was gonna come up to a stranger and say “Hi,are you Logtar”.:-) Next time it should be easier.

  2. Don’t worry, no matter how little (or how much) you post, you are a official KC Blogger and will always have an invitation to the bloggy get togethers:) I look forward to getting to know you better.
