Life as as student
Even if I haven't started studying yet, I try to go to the university as often as possible. Just hanging around the place makes me feel better, gives me hope, gives sense to my life when I start feeling crappy. Being a small university, students have the chance to meet just anyone (OK, I'm exaggerating, but that's the idea) and it's a happy coincidence that there's a colombian guy in the Biology program. He's been very nice to me, showing me around, explaining how things work, encouraging me and introducing me to all the peeps he crosses paths with. Everyone's nice... the charm of small cities!
I have a good feeling about this one, I can't wait until classes start. There's a party on Friday, feels like an appetizer for what is coming later. And no, I don't plan to live la vida loca, but I'm all alone now, free, might as well enjoy it!

Definitely enjoy it, Bea!
Revel in this exciting time. Sure, it’s tough; but you are starting fresh. How cool is that? You get to do whatever the heck you want! And you seem to have decided on some pretty cool stuff like getting your degree! Go you!

Just remember that you have the right, the obligation to party! And yes, you can get to know everybody. Start with the President of the University, and, you know, charm them with your wit :)
