Not part of the cast anymore…

Here I am this morning, thinking that it really sucks not to be in the “cast” anymore. You make part of someone’s life for a while and then you’re out of the scene and you become a simple spectator who can’t do much about anything that goes on in that person’s show. You see them going through a rough patch on the road and you want to say a lot of things, you want to do a lot of things, but you just have to stop yourself because you’re simply not that needed anymore, not even a secondary character, probably an utility person, but that’s it. You want to make it better in any way you can, but that’s not your task anymore. Your contract’s over and you just have to move on.

It is hard, especially when you care so damn much.
