I told you I was going to be back on Canada Day. Did you miss the announcement? Oh well, I’m here now. Big hiccup in my life during the last two weeks, but things are slowly going back to normal and I don’t plan to talk about it here, but thanks so much for all the e-mails I received asking how I was doing and wishing me well, I appreciate each one of your words. It’s not easy to be away from blogging when you like the blogosphere so much, but I had to put things in order here at home and I have to admit that BeaLog takes a lot of my time, so it was either the weblog or my personal life and there isn’t much of a choice there, huh?
Anyway, today is Canada’s Birthday and I want to wish all Canadians (even the imported ones, like me) a very happy Canada Day. May your day be filled with red maple leafs, noble beaver smiles and the promise of a better tomorrow now that we have a new government (that isn’t so new, but that has just been officially elected, and thank God the Tories are not the party in power…). Yep, I do feel Canadian… What to do? This is not my native land, but it sure is my home, until the Quebec separatists say otherwise, hah! ;-) Bad joke? Oh well!
