Two days ago, the 28th calendar fell on my back. I don’t even feel it :smile: Had a nice time, went for lunch at my dad’s friend’s restaurant, they had a cake for me with my name. Last night all my family and some friends got together here at home to make me a “Tacada”. Lots of tacos, music and tequila. As for gifts: Mom gave me a sumptuous pair of sapphire earrings she had made especially for me. I got flowers and a special card from my little nephew.

But my best Birthday gift was the news from Patrice that he’s coming soon!! He’s trying to find a flight to be here before Christmas Eve so he can spend the Holidays with my family and also trying to find a little romantic hide away in some tropical beach… YIPPEEE!

Those are the news on this side. Thanks a lot for the Birthday messages I received here and via e-mail (even if this year I didn’t make any publicity… I think I’m past that kind of thing, don’t like the fuss). I’m now wearing a nice manicure… yes! I let someone put nail polish on my nails. French Manicure they call it.

Tonight is the “Noche de las Velitas” and I’m waiting for the night to arrive to go on the streets and light candles honoring Virgin Mary (Dec. 8th is the Immaculate Conception Day), who is the bringer of the Light of the World, Jesus. It’s the official beginning of the Christmas Season here in Colombia and it’s totally beautiful!!. Tell you more about it later; I have to pick up mom and my best friend now. VROOOM!
