Reporting at 32°C

More than lots of things to tell about, I’m rather posting to report myself. I’ve received nice comments and e-mail messages from people wondering how I’m doing and telling me they actually miss me *flattered*. It’s hot as heck here in Cali!!

Every thing is going well here, thank God. Christmas is up and shining at home. We made the big “Pesebre” (Nativity Scene) in the inner garden my mom has here full of nice plants (darn! I left the camera in the hurry of the trip, but I’ll be taking photos with my SLR and scanning them with my brother’s brand new Acer Scanner… he he!!). The last couple of years mom hasn’t had the motivation to put a Christmas tree, but this year I told her we had to honor the memory of those who we love, and passed away, to show God our gratitude for the wonderful family we have. So, we have a new Christmas tree too.

I’m now in the process of reading Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” and I’m totally loving it! “Sense and Sensibility” is next on my list and I’m also going through my treasure box of books I left when I moved to Canada. I guess my next read will be Amy Tan’s “The Joy Luck Club“, that I read back in 1999 after I came out of the hospital. Other than reading, I’m always going with mom to do stuff (plain bureaucracy here!) and getting together with my best friend, Midori, to talk and have fun.

Well, I have to get up really early tomorrow. I’m going to my school to get some notes Certificates and do some other “diligencias” with mom. I hope everyone is doing alright! Take care.

  1. Yay! I can’t wait to see some of your pictures, I’m sure they’ll turn out fabulously!

I’ve never read “Pride and Prejudice” or “Sense and Sensibility”. They’re high on my list once I’m graduated though. ;)
