San Andrés, Colombia

Oh, for God’s sake! I cannot believe that Nicaragua is still going on about San Andres Island in Colombia. Deal with it, it belongs to us, geographically, historically. I can understand the natives of the island wanting to be independent, but not Daniel Ortega’s antics. This issue was discussed and sealed a long time ago (1930).

If anyone should be offended about the military parade on July 20th is the people who live in the island since they have expressed a desire to be separated from the country and have their own government (like Jamaica and the others). But Nicaragua? Really, get over it already. It’s been 27 years since they tried unsuccessfully to get it, and Ortega’s still being a pain in the butt.
