Soirée PartyLite

Long week of work, the meeting with the consul last night (I’ll write more about it later, but it was GREAT!). We finished work today around 3 p.m. and without learning anything from last week’s indigestion episode, we went for take-out at St-Hubert; I just made sure NOT to eat the salad, but the chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese was yunmy!

So, we get home at 4 and something and I get ready for the weekend. A little bit upset with my poor husband for reasons I won’t discuss here (in Spanish we say that you do your own laundry at home) and was getting to start really moody when the telephone rang, I was in the bathroom, Patrice answered and told me: “Weren’t you suppossed to go to Elisa‘s tonight?”. I went “Shoot! that’s right… the PartyLite meeting!!”. Let me tell you, she saved the night; the minute I knew I could go out and think about different things I started smiling. Good thing that I hadn’t put my PJs on and I was there 10 minutes after she called.

I’m so glad I went, not for the candles, but for the nice time we had. Lots of laughter, pizza, Doritos and Pepsi Blue. Plus, Elisa is a little brat, but I’ll let her say why… LOL! I got to meet Trish, who’s really nice and pregnant! YAY! More babies :-) I bought something from that PartyLite consultant, but the highlight of the night were the two pots of Fun Dough (something like Play-Doh) Elisa gave me, along with a book… one of those steamy historial romances, he he! Thanks, Elisa!!

So, it’s 1:10 a.m. and I should be sleeping because I haven’t done that properly during this week with so much work, waking up at 5 a.m. But nope, I’m online, talking about my adventures and chatting with my friend Maria :smile: I’ll hit the hay soon, tho! And then… Let’s hope for the weekend to bring good things.
