Spring Cleaning

I’m still in “état de shock” after the school news (thank you so much for all the nice comments!), slowly coming back to reality. I had a hedonistic kind of weekend, being a lazy bum, watched a couple of movies, went shopping, bien sur! Got myself a new toy, a chick lit piece called Fat Chance, the new Norah Jones’ CD and a couple of gifts for the hubby were in the list too. Then yesterday was Spring Cleaning day… it feels good to open the windows and get rid of stuff you don’t need anymore. Of course there’s still a lot to do, but we’ve started.
I woke up early today (6:30 a.m.) and I hope I will get into the routine of going to bed early too (last night I was sleeping by 10:30, instead of my usual after midnight or wee hours). I did my exercise routine this morning, ate a healthy breakfast and now I’m waiting for the laundry to be ready so I can fold and organize clothes (how fun!). We’re having a beautiful day in Montreal and I’m thinking of going out for a pleasure walk later. I hope you’re having a great start of week, too.

These are comments to this entry that I had to recover:
My week is shaping out to be a superbusy one, but it is going to be a good one for sure, I CAN FEEL IT. Pleasure walk sounds like fun.

What did you think of the cat in the hat? I haven’t seen it, they are only just releasing it in cinemas here now!
I liked Le Divorce, however I half expected Leslie Caron to dance across the screen en pointe, as I have her debut movie (53 years ago!) on CD & DVD and just love it.

“Le Divorce” — The movie had some very bad critics at the Cinéma Montréal website (where I go to check what’s playing and get the schedules), but I truly enjoyed it. Maybe because I’m in love with Paris or because I really like Kate Hudson. And it was nice to hear Carla Bruni in the soundtrack.

If you like Norah Jones give Katie Melua a whirl, she’s brilliant.
