I wrote a long rant about my T.V. Service Provider earlier this afternoon, but then I decided to write about something good. However, the rant is still here if you’re interested on reading the “More” part.
It’s been a beautiful day today in Montreal
A little bit chilly, just for me. After answering the 20 questions I found at Pariah’s blog and looking at how messy my desk was I decided to go in a cleaning spree. Got rid of tons of papers I don’t need anymore, organized the floppy disks (Patrice had a lot of them all mixed with blank ones) and labeled them properly. My keyboard is shinning and I passed the wonderful Swiffer and the vacuum on the rug, after hiding the darn computer cables (they sure can be a lot!). It looks delicious now!
Patrice kind of got curious after seeing me cleaning and he decided to something of his own. Got rid of old comic books and other stuff to donate to the local library where people seemed very pleased to know someone wants to share with them. Books, they are so expensive! Thinking of all those kids who will profit with the stories of the Smurfs and Children Encyclopedias makes me feel happy.
How was your day? Having fun so far? Still interested in a little rant? Continue reading then. If not, take care! I might see you later ![]()
T.V. Woes
Ugh! They have just finished building in front and people are already moving. Not only they cut my beautiful trees, but someone managed to give OUR house address to Vidotron saying they were moving or something and now we’re out of T.V. service. This morning a guy from Vidotron came asking for Monsieur Bertrand and I told him this wasn’t his house. Far was I from knowing that they would cut our service thinking we were not living here anymore. Quel incompetence!
Lucky to be connected to the internet. We just called Vidotron and they weren’t that nice to us, as if it was our fault!
After the long waiting they said our service won’t be restored before tomorrow noon. How’s that? Patrice is just too nice; I was about to take the phone and talk to the person at Customer Service and complain because they sent a letter before checking by telephone if this family was moving out or not. And we got the letter today… go figure. We thought it was the bill for this month and opened it when we found we were out of service, to find the notice.
And I’m also angry with whoever moved to the building in front for not being able to give the RIGHT address. We’ve had enough mess thanks to the new construction, a flooded parking lot and people were angry calling Patrice because he used to the be the president of the condo board, to talk to the owner of the building. It hasn’t been nice… and now this. The little drop that spilled the glass, I guess.
Yes, I know it’s not the end of the world. Anyone can survive without T.V., but what kills me is people not doing things right and the way Vidéotron treated us when we called to complain. They are fast to disconnect you, but not as fast when solving your problems. It’ll pass… breathe… breathe… Nice day, ah? If all problems in life were like this.
come clean my desk, please! and I have clean (but unfolded) laundry that’s been in my room for 2 weeks.
My desk is clean, but I still have some stuff to go through that I removed from it yesterday. Wasn’t home much today so didin’t accomplish much in the house at all!
meant to say also: great for you… a clean desk is such a lovely thing!
