Thai and Laughter

I was kind of reluctant to go, but finally decided a little fun wouldn’t hurt and I joined some fellow bloggers and some montreal ladies for thai food at a really nice restaurant on West Island. We ate deliciously (is that a word?) and they made me laugh a little, while I just stayed quiet… My social skills suck! I’ve been alone for so long and interacting with so few people in real life that I feel I really don’t have much to say to others. That added to the fact that I’ve become extremely shy since I’m in Canada… But it was fun.

Anyway, it was good to meet an American friend. she’s really nice ladies and it’s just amazing how you can finally get together with someone you’ve known online for some time. Frankly speaking, it didn’t come as a surprise how nice she is, but looking at her face is something else.

After supper we went to another friend’s house for drinks and at midnight everyone went home. Thanks to the pal who drove me to the train station. I got home at 1:15 a.m. Walking alone on the street at that hour and knowing nothing will happen to you because you’re in a safe neighborhood is a feeling not everyone can enjoy. But, I’m definitely getting my drivers license… I don’t like to be a charity case of transport… LOL!
