Since Québecois decided to make bad use of religion-related words, I feel really naughty every time I have to say “Certificat de baptême.”
The interesting thing is that I thought this long list of “sacres” was generated after the “Révolution Tranquille,” but it seems they have been giving the church a bad name since the 19th century. Gotta love Wikipedia.
I have no problem with bodily function swear words. I can’t do the french religion-related ones.
