The Library Thing

Wired has a rather interesting article, in its How To section, about using open social tools, and I realized I am using almost all of them (not getting very social, though). Two of these tools caught my attention: Shelfari and The Library Thing. I remember I used to catalog my books at All Consumming, but I stopped doing it a long time ago. I, however, wanted to find some sort of site online where I could do this again, kinda like Flickr with my photos, Last FM with music, etc.

I tried Shelfari, which is a nice site, but I found the flash to be slow. The site is pleasant to the eye, but slow. So I tried with The Library Thing, and I'm happy with it. I'm cataloguing my books (the ones I have here, anyway) and it will be a good way to keep track of what I'm buying and reading.

Oh, did I mention that reading makes me very happy? :-)
