By now your Maia must be back to normal. You’re so luck you have a kitten that doesn’t mind the car ride. Our Sammy hates it with a passion. My wife has to drive and I have to sit with him – in his carriage – on the back of the car to keep him from meowing us to death!

My kitty just meows a lot when he’s going on a trip. She may be crazy in the house but it sounds like she’s a good car buddy.

I’m glad you chose not to declaw her. I think this is so inhumane. You’re lucky Maia is good in the car. My cats go CRAZY and hyperventilate/puke/try to get out of their box. Ugh!
