Why wasn’t I informed?

So, a broken tailbone later I find there is something called Yaktrax to avoid stamping your butt on the icy floor. I have to find out if it works on friggin’ icy stairs that landlord hasn’t properly taken care of… Ugh! I’m still trying to master the art of falling gracefully. Back to books. Got an A today, I so rock!
