How do bears, bees, frogs and other creatures stay alive in a barren, subzero landscape? — That’s what I’m going to learn about when I start reading Winter World, a book I found in the “Nouveautés” section at the local library. My leisure reading time is very restricted these days, but I went looking for documentation to work on my Climatology report and I couldn’t resist the new arrivals. What a nice surprise to see a book about Biology, especially related to one of the classes I’m taking this trimester which main subject is animal adaptations. I’m anticipating it’s going to be really useful :-) Bon, je vais faire dodo, bonne nuit !
Oh, thanks for the link to this book, I’ve just added that along with another on Trees, to my Wishlist. :-)
