Wireless Dreams

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we lived in a 100% wireless world? That surely would make my day… my year… my life. Cable invasions drive me crazy. If it isn’t the entertainment centre in the living room, then it’s the computer and its friends in the office. Then it starts to warm up a little and you decide to connect a fan, yet another cable to make your life a little piece of hell. And what about when they get all tangled? Not a nice thing to see. Like when you carry a walkman or a CD player around and someone manages (I don’t know how!) to make a holy mess of everything. Oh yes, I know about those white tubes they sell at IKEA to put all your cables in, but they are not enough… I want my world to go wireless, yes, that would be wonderful.

I want wireless combined with portability.

I’m sure we’ll see great technological advances within our lifetimes.

i deliberately try to have as few wires as possible in my room. but being me… i’ll settle for a computer wires and all first, if i can get a wireless one later. ;-)

Wireless is becoming more and more of a reality every day. There are a lot of products that now come wireless… if you want to get rid of some of your mess just snoop around. I know logitec has a lot of devices now… and all the X10 home automation stuff is pretty neat too.
